This policy explains how the Clearwater Yacht Club Cruisers website handles information submitted for events and text updates.
Information we collect
When you RSVP, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, party size, boat name, activity selections, attendance response, and notes you choose to share. When you join the Cruiser text line, we collect your name, mobile number, optional email address, consent record, and the source and time of your signup.
How we use information
We use this information to coordinate Cruiser events, track expected attendance, accommodate host requests, send event confirmations and updates, and operate the Cruiser text program. Event organizers may use RSVP details only for these club and event purposes.
Mobile information and messaging consent
We do not sell or share mobile numbers, text-messaging consent, or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that help deliver messages may process information only to provide that service on our behalf.
Message frequency varies, typically up to 4 messages per month; event-day changes may result in additional messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Data retention and choices
We retain RSVP and consent records for event administration, program compliance, and club history for as long as reasonably needed. You may update an RSVP by resubmitting it with the same email. Security and changes
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect submitted information. No online system is completely secure. We may update this policy as the Cruiser program or service providers change; the date above will show the latest revision.
